He was the son of Frederick Sholder and Matilda Helen Miller.2 Victor Paul Sholder married, at age 22, Madeline Elizabeth Hinston, age 18, daughter of George Hinston and Sarah Miller, on Saturday, 1 July 1922 at Saint John's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6,2,4 Victor Paul Sholder died on 19 July 1979 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 2 months and 18 days.2,3,4,5 He was buried on 23 July 1979 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Reginald W. McInroy.2,3
