He was the son of George Baskins Ranck and Ruth Edna Artman.1 Charles Albert Ranck married, at age 21, Doris Mae Biichle, daughter of Elmer Edward Biichle and Vinnie Mabel Sholder, on Thursday, 16 October 1941 at Lycoming Presbyterian Church Parsonage, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend J. Clyde Foose. Charles Albert Ranck died on 8 September 2004 at Williamsport Home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 84 years, 5 months and 16 days.5,3
