In 1976 the Wildwood Cemetery Association would purchase what was called the Mound Cemetery which is adjacent to the formers property. Meginness also writes the following about the Mound Cemetery:
Mound Cemetery, on a high knoll near the bridge of the Northern Central railroad across Lycoming creek, was laid out recently. It commands' a fine view of the city, the river, and surrounding country.
