Millard Rhode Scholderer was born on 28 June 1913 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.2,1 He was the son of George Humphry Scholderer and Helen Elizabeth Rhode.1 Millard Rhode Scholderer married Lois Thelma Peterson, daughter of George Peterson and Hanna Halstead, circa 1941. Millard Rhode Scholderer died on 29 March 1974 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York, at age 60 years, 9 months and 1 day.2,1 He was buried in the Chenango Valley Cemetery, located in Binghamton, Broome County, New York.1
Millard Rhode Scholderer was also known as Cossitt.1 He appeared on the census of January 1920 in the household of George Humphry Scholderer and Helen Elizabeth Rhode at Binghamton, 11th Ward, Broome County, New York. Millard was born Millard Gray Cossitt, the biological son of Millard Grey Cossitt. At the age of 21 he was adopted by his stepfather George Scholderer to carry on the name.1
