Wilson Benjamin Hoffa1,2,3,4

     Wilson Benjamin Hoffa was born on 14 February 1857.3 He was the son of Aaron Hoffa and Mary Sherry.3 Wilson Benjamin Hoffa married, at age 25, Charlotte Mahaffey, age 21, daughter of Thomas Mahaffey and Elizabeth B. Sholder, on Sunday, 20 August 1882 at home of Reverend G. L. Burson, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend G. L. Burson.1,2,4 Wilson Benjamin Hoffa died on 17 October 1939 at Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, at age 82 years, 8 months and 3 days.3 He was buried on 20 October 1939 in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, located in Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.3
     He appeared on the census of 12 June 1860 in the household of Aaron Hoffa and Mary Sherry at Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Wilson Benjamin Hoffa appeared on the census of 8 June 1880 in the household of Mary Sherry at Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Wilson Benjamin Hoffa and Charlotte Mahaffey appeared on the census of June 1900 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. As of 1903, Wilson Benjamin Hoffa and Charlotte Mahaffey lived in Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.5 Wilson Benjamin Hoffa and Charlotte Mahaffey appeared on the census of 1910 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Wilson Benjamin Hoffa and Charlotte Mahaffey appeared on the census of 1920 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Wilson Benjamin Hoffa and Charlotte Mahaffey appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. His obituary was published on 18 October 1939 in the The Sullivan Review, printed in Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Wilson B. Hoffa died Tuesday noon, October 17th, at his home at Mildred, following a long illness at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 3 days. Mr. Hoffa was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hoffa, early settlers of Cherry township.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lotta Mahaffey Hoffa, one daughter Mrs. Esther Hafer of Williamsport, two sons, Leo of Lopez and Paul at home, also five grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at his late home, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the family plot in Zion Evangelical Lutheran cemetery.
