     Christoph Volz was born on 5 June 1685 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Sebastian Volz and Anna Barbara Boehm.1 Christoph Volz married, at age 24, Agnes Barbara Ruoff, age 20, daughter of Johannes Ruoff and Agnes Glaser, on Tuesday, 25 February 1710 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 Christoph Volz died after May 1754 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1
