     Frances Helen Strauss was born on 29 March 1935 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,4,3 She was the daughter of George Strauss and Laura A. Schuler.3 Frances Helen Strauss first married Donald Garman circa 1957.3 Frances Helen Strauss married a second time, at age 36, Verus L. Farr Jr., age 47, son of Verus L. Farr and Mildred Mae Sholder, on Thursday, 30 December 1971.1,2,3 Frances Helen Strauss died on 28 January 2000 at home, 2295 Lycoming Creek Road, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 64 years, 9 months and 30 days.4,2,3 She was buried on 31 January 2000. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Charles J. Cummings.3
     She was widowed by the death of Donald in 1967.3
