     Helen Elizabeth Shaffer was born on 14 December 1911 at Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3,2 She was baptized at Saint Michael's Lutheran Church, Quiggleville, Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Frank George Shaffer and Sara Jane Kibbie.1 Helen Elizabeth Shaffer married, at age 18, Floyd Bixler Sholder, age 23, son of Harry Ellsworth Sholder and Clara Irene Bixler, on Saturday, 7 June 1930 at Duboistown, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Helen Elizabeth Shaffer died on 13 January 1996 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 84 years and 30 days.4,3,2 She was buried on 17 January 1996 in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,2
