     Josephine Bastian was born in 1861 at Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Bastian and Josephine [—?—]. Josephine Bastian married Elmer Sholder, age 17, son of Charles Emanuel Sholder and Mary Anna Kinley, on Wednesday, 30 September 1885 at Methodist Evangical Parsonage, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Josephine Bastian died in 1954 at age 93 years.1 She was buried in lot 820A, in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
