     Wilbur Henry Murray was born on 17 May 1891 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,5,6 He was the son of Michael C. Murray and Clara Sholder.4 Wilbur Henry Murray married, at age 20, Kate Sweeley, age 19, daughter of Franklin Peter Sweeley and Ellen E. Gheen, in June 1911 at Newberry Methodist Church, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend J. E. Bucke.9,2,4 Wilbur Henry Murray died on 1 February 1982 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 90 years, 8 months and 15 days.4,5,6 He was buried on 4 February 1982 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Karl S. Fetterman.4,5

Wilbur Henry Murray was employed by the Sweets Steel Company Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, for more than 50 years.4 He and Kate Sweeley appeared on the census of 25 April 1930 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.      Wilbur Henry Murray the brother of Edward Raymond Murray was listed in his obituary on 19 January 1953 in the Daily Gazette & Bulletin, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.10 He became a widower at the age of 86 with the death of Kate on 10 May 1978.2,4,11 As of 1981, Wilbur Henry Murray lived at 277 Grimesville Road, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.4

     Wilbur Henry Murray was listed in Lester G. Murray's obituary in September 1981 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as his brother.3 His obituary was published on 2 February 1982 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Wilbur H. Murray, 90 of 277 Grimesville Road, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 1982, in Williamsport Hospital, where he had been admitted last Wednesday.

     Born May 17, 1891, in Lycoming Twp., he was a son of Michael C. and Clara Sholder Murray.

     He retired from the former Sweets Steel Co., where he had worked for over 50 years.

     Mr. Murray was a member of Newberry United Methodist Church.

     His wife, the former Kate Sweeley, died in 1978.

     Surviving are a son, Frank G., of Seal Beach, Calif; two daughters, Miss Aline C. Murray, at home, and Mrs. Donald Jackson, of this city, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

     The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Knight's, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with the Rev. Karl S. Fetterman, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.

     Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday.4
According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Wilbur's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6
