     Charlotte Mahaffey was born on 29 May 1861 at Pennsylvania.1,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Mahaffey and Elizabeth B. Sholder.1 Charlotte Mahaffey married, at age 21, Wilson Benjamin Hoffa, age 25, son of Aaron Hoffa and Mary Sherry, on Sunday, 20 August 1882 at home of Reverend G. L. Burson, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend G. L. Burson.5,2,4 Charlotte Mahaffey died on 3 September 1940 at age 79 years, 3 months and 5 days.3 She was buried in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, located in Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.3
     Charlotte Mahaffey was also known as Lottie.4 She appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 in the household of Thomas Mahaffey and Elizabeth B. Sholder at Hughesville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Charlotte Mahaffey and Wilson Benjamin Hoffa appeared on the census of June 1900 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. As of 1903, Charlotte Mahaffey and Wilson Benjamin Hoffa lived in Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.6 Charlotte Mahaffey and Wilson Benjamin Hoffa appeared on the census of 1910 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Charlotte Mahaffey and Wilson Benjamin Hoffa appeared on the census of 1920 at Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Charlotte Mahaffey and Wilson Benjamin Hoffa appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Charlotte Mahaffey appeared on the census of 16 April 1940 at Mildred, Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.
