     Wilhelm Jakob Luz was born on 17 October 1892 at Haiterbach, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, German Empire.1 He was the son of Johann Gottlieb Luz and Friederike Magdalene Maier.1 Wilhelm Jakob Luz married, at age 29, Karoline Ruoß, age 22, daughter of Matthäus Ruoß and Anna Maria Gutekunst, on Monday, 5 June 1922 at Haiterbach, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, Weimar Republic (Germany).1 Wilhelm Jakob Luz died on 21 April 1968 at Tübingen, District of Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany, at age 75 years, 6 months and 4 days.1
