Shirley Ruth Calkins married, at age 19, Earl G. Kriner, age 21, son of Earl Kriner and Carrie Engel, on Wednesday, 4 September 1946 at Winchester, Winchester County, Virginia.4 Shirley Ruth Calkins died on 5 July 2005 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 8 months and 6 days.5,1,2 She was buried on 9 July 2005 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Philip Lesko.1

Kriner lived at 2022 Zuni Lane, Box 167, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.3 She was widowed at age 66 by the death of Earl on 8 June 1993.6 As of November 2000, Shirley Ruth Calkins lived at 2001 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
