Travel paper (front side) for Christian August Scholderer, February 1831. Travel paper (front side) for Christian August Scholderer for his immigration to America in Febraury of 1831. Kevin first saw these papers in September of 1992, then owned by Shirley Ruth (Calkins) Kriner, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania at which time he was able to make a copy. As of 2009 these were owned by Michael and Donna (Mecum) Kriner, 90 Fink Drive Ext., Montoursville, PA 17754; (570) 435-3379. This was passed to Michael from his mother, Shirley Ruth (Calkins) Kriner from her father, Floyd Douglas Calkins from his mother, Caroline M. (Sholder) Calkins the daughter of Christian August Scholderer & Anna Margareta Lutscher. Sometime between 1992 and before Shirley died in 2005 she had them laminated in plastic. In March of 2009 full size electronic scans were made of the documents by Kevin L.
